I was educated to be a registrated Intensive Care Nurse in Holland. I still work in this job. In the rest of my time, I try to built bridges between cultures, invite people to join our idealism trips to The Gambia and in the future to some other countries.

I like visitors to really meet Gambians, not to run from sightseeing to sightseeing from an air conditioned bus, but to sit down in a bantaba, drinking atyre and talk with each other, relaxed. I believe, that people from different cultures can meet each other through art; music / painting / photography or other forms of art. That's why I try to organise workshoptravels.
